VI. FEATURE (PRO-FEEL, UNSTAKED): Austin Lemieux

This one is Pro-Feel, and it carries no stake. Our system runs on two inputs, Math and Pro-Feel, and normally the math leads. With Lemieux it can't: the model has almost no Tour data on him and gives him only 1.4% to finish Top 20, a fair price of about +7000. His only line at a major US book is DraftKings Top 20 at +2500, which sits well below our fair price. So this is a read, not a staked line.

Our lead analyst has seen his game firsthand, and it shows what the numbers can't. His length tops almost any field; his 3-wood goes 325 when he needs it. His ball-striking is elite and his short game has become excellent around the greens. He's been stacking mini-tour wins and competes with Tour pros at his home club in Florida. And he has the patience and attitude that keep a round from getting away. On an exposed, wind-set par 71, that is a player worth watching.

Lemieux has Tour-level coaching behind him, too. For several years he has worked with Way Ismail, who coached Neal Shipley from his high-school years through low-amateur honors at both the 2024 Masters and the U.S. Open, a final-round pairing with Tiger Woods at Augusta, and on to the PGA TOUR. That is rare support for a Monday qualifier, and it shows in how complete his game has become.

The record backs the read. Lemieux, 30, plays as an amateur and played college hockey at Arizona State. He earned his place in this field the hard way: a 66 at a Monday qualifier in Winter Haven, Florida, on October 12, one of four spots available from 68 players. It is his first PGA TOUR start. He arrives in form. On September 8 he won the WPGA Mid-Amateur at 7 under, with a hole-in-one. On September 24 he won the Minor League Golf Tour's Monday Qualifier Contest #5 at 200 over three rounds (64-66-70). On October 6 he won the Indian Spring East event in Boynton Beach, Florida, with 65-65 and a birdie in the playoff.
